Provide leadership that drives Best-In-Class Operational performance within our NC Distribution Center.  Develop a plan to advance the company's objectives and promote profitability.  Oversee operations to insure efficiency, quality, service and cost-effective management of resources. 


  • Leverage use of warehouse management system and MOS tools to lower processing costs while maintaining high service levels to Liberty customers.
  • Develop and ensure proper operations policies and procedures are in-place for the timely and accurate movement and distribution of Liberty and 3PL owned inventory. 
  • Work closely with Inventory Control to maintain the Masco corporate certified cycle count program.
  • Ensure all functional areas adhere to proper customer compliance requirements.  Make customer visits to ensure compliance and follow-up bringing closure to any customer operational non-compliance issues. 
  • Assist in the development of short and long-term strategic plans to support on-going business and new business initiatives.
  • Develop operating budget/plans for the North Carolina Distribution Center that adds value and accomplishes business objectives.  Initiate and recommend the purchase of new equipment, technology, asset improvement or utilization of outside resources.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales and Customer Service to develop action plans that solve business workflow problems.
  • Maintain consistent cross-shift operations standards for production, cost control, waste reduction, quality/accuracy and complete on-time delivery of goods and services.  Utilize historical and forecasted demand to analyze labor balancing and troubleshoot areas for improvement.
  • Establish a standard of performance that clearly communicates best-in-class expectations, builds accountability, strives for continuous improvement and utilizes the daily management of metrics.
  • Develop, coach and mentor a leadership team capable of carrying out operating strategies, while enhancing employee engagement.  This team should promote a ‘Best-In-Class’ organization.
  • Demonstrate a Continuous Improvement mindset – through participation in events and activities that lead to financial gain, time savings, and/or waste reduction for the business.

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or seven to ten years of experience and/or training in a distribution environment with five years in a management role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Knowledge of warehouse management systems required preferably JDE and PKMS.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiations skills working in a global business environment are required.
